Oceanside Bombers Appoint Retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant Dean McCown Sr. as Assistant Coach

OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside Bombers are proud to announce the official signing of Dean McCown Sr. as the newest addition to the coaching staff. Bringing a formidable blend of military discipline and educational leadership, McCown joins the sideline to instill a culture of "Discipline and Dominance" for the upcoming season at Frontwave Arena.

A retired United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant, Coach McCown transitions from the battlefield to the gridiron with a proven track record of elite leadership. Currently an educator and Special Education advocate within the Fallbrook and Camp Pendleton communities, McCown’s mission extends beyond football, focusing on the holistic development of "champions of character."

"Dean is a passionate servant leader who believes in community first," said Cree Morris, Head Coach of the Oceanside Bombers. "He inspires excellence in every player he touches. His 'get it done' mindset is exactly what we need to push our roster to the next level."

Coach McCown’s philosophy centers on the "work nobody sees"—the preparation in the classroom and the community that ultimately leads to victory under the stadium lights.
